Hi, y’all! I’m Kathy Potts. I was raised in Mississippi, and folks around here tell me my Southern accent is still mighty noticeable. Tom and I have called Iowa home since 1999, and I love this place and the people in it. Our family’s Iowa roots run deep, too: we have a family pioneer cemetery near Albia, and our grandchildren are seventh-generation Iowans.
I started Linn Neighbors to be a kind, helpful spot for all of Linn County: a place to share good information, celebrate our neighbors, and visit a little, the way we would on the front porch.

Linn Neighbors is about neighbors, all of them. Here we stick to the facts, keep it kind, and leave the arguing for somewhere else.
